we were both revering out of our driveways oposte each other at the same time. we collided in the centre of the rd. the other person has put a claim in that they were stationary and i reversed into them. i belive they revrsed into me. who is really at fault if anyone and what is the best action.

Sounds like 50/50. If the other person made a claim, you should as well. Have your insurance company help defend you or you could end up with more liability than you deserve. You have insurance, use it. The option to both take care of your own loss and keep it off the record was lost as soon as they reported the claim. Your loss is already in the data base (called CLUE). |

Don't worry. If you have full coverage and your neighbor does, too, you'll probably be found to be fifty percent liable, at the most. They'll investigate and find who's liable and you might not have to pay anything. Good luck and don't worry......OK? It'll all work out. |
