I think my neighbor hit my car and didn't tell me!?

The other morning I woke up and was leaving for work when I noticed a huge scratch on my bumper. It had green paint from the other car all over it...I got home the night before at 930 pm and it wasn't there because it's so big I would have noticed it. The only person that drives a green car that I know of is my neighbor on the first floor. She drives a brand new toyota camry, and it just so coincidentally happened that she has a HUGE dent on her bumper with Blue paint from my grand cherokee! Am I overreacting or would you think the same thing? I took pictures of both cars, and I plan on confronting her tomorrow about it, but what do I do if she denies it? File a police report?

Call both the police and your insurance company before you talk to her. When/if you confront her show her the pictures and tell her the police and your insurance have been notified, This may help to convince her to fess up to you and later to the police and your insurance

Actually, I don't recommend a confrontation, at all. People get shot that way.

do it, samething happened to me, she might not of known,best to be up front, just be polite and show her ,be warned she could say you hit her in which case big fall out, thats wat happend to me, that was 6 yrs ago,and we still dont get on

just ask her and call police or call police and then ask her either way yes report it if you want it fix dont be rude dont be smart just ask her if she hit your car since you got picture and both car have damage most likely she did but best not to be crazy about it im sure she didnt do it on purpose and im sure it wil happen more than once if you plan on driving any car and it always wil make you feel the same way.. but never a reason for overreacting unless it was done on purpose then its hit to break bones and call ambulance

hi sorry to hear about your car, anyway, i hit my mates car left a biggish dent on it, i swear i didnt even notice it but the proof was on his car and mine i could see paint work from both cars, i drove off and saw him next day and he said he was watching out of the window and thought i hit it but wasnt sure till he looked, we was fine just got another friend to knock dent out and respray which i paid. another time my car was reversed into but the lady honestly thought it was the Tyre kerbbing so just drove off saw her about it when she got back from shopping or where ever she went she paid for it to be repaired in cash as was only Â£70 to get sorted. so both accidents one mine other not me, yet we both didnt know they had happened, see your neighbour just say, hi did you notice that you may have hit my car. try to avoid involving anyone else keep it friendly. if they deny it then you will have to speak to insurance if your insurance fully comprehensive it will cover you, but watch out may be cheaper to pay or get them to pay cash as said before it was less than the excess to get mine sorted , hope that helps

Thats enough evidence. I would call the police if i were you.
I dont understand why people are like that-if i had hit your car i would have told you. She more than likely has insurance if she has a brand new car so why she is trying to dodge this is silly, she should have been honest and told you and let the insurance fix both cars.
