I took my drivers test..... and?

I took my drivers test and failed three times. Now they wont let me take it again.

It says only in the Richmond area. If I go to Washington D.C. to take my test, will they let me? It says the rule is only in the Richmond area. But if I get my test and pass it, will I be able to live and drive in the Richmond area? Well, I know I can still drive here but can I live here? My license will say Washington D.C., can I change the place it says on it by going to the DMV near me?
Here's what I'm trying to ask:
If I failed 3 times, I can't take it no more. Can I take it in a dif. area and pass, can I change the place name to Virginia by going to the DMV here?

Unless you are a legal resident of Washington DC, you cannot go there to take your test.
The link you provided does not say that you cannot retest after failing 3 times. And it is STATEWIDE, not just the Richmond area.
It states that you must enroll & successfully complete additional training before you can take the test for a 4th time. Apparently, you never studied the handbook if you failed your written, or never received enough or adequate behind-the-wheel training before attempting to take your road skills test. That is your fault, not the Commonwealth of Virginia. If you seriously want your license, then you would have studied and/or done more practice driving before attempting your skills test. There are no shortcuts to learning to drive & learning how to safely drive.
It really sounds to me that you are either not mature enough to need a license or everyone else on the road is better off that you don't.
Remember, there is no right to drive, only a privilege & you must earn that privilege. |
