Well, legally, it's not all yours because HIS name is on the title!!
You might need to drag him back into court, under contempt charges, if he refuses to sign the title. That's your ONLY option. |

Was this vehicle mentioned during the divorce process? If yes, do you have proof that you own it (Divorce papers). If you do, present them with the title to the court house. Otherwise contact your lawyer, and DO NOT TRY ANYTHING even if you have his DL#, SS#, his address and his signature,
Good luck to you.
PS: I thought, there was no need for both owners to be present just for tub renewal. |

First of all, call a lawyer. I thought this was going to happen to me, but a tree fell on my van and crushed it. Now, I have a vehicle completely in my name. God works in mysterious ways. |

If you were awarded the car in your divorce papers, then threaten to take him back to court for not singing off on a vehicle that belongs to you! I would send the title to someone here you can trust and see if they will take it to him to sign, otherwise you may not get it back and that will make things even harder! Good luck! |

You don't have to have him sign the title. If you want PA registration just take the title in and get a PA. |

Your lawyer should have settled all of this in your divorce decree and the papers would have been signed before the divorce was finalized.
If this wasn't taken care of then, there's absolutely no incentive for your ex to sign anything now. And you can't force him to without paying your lawyer to take him back to court. |

Apparently it's titled with "AND" as the connector between your names, if it was "OR" you wouldn't need his signature. All you can do is keep asking, and if he doesn't seem willing to cooperate contact the attorney you used to file your divorce and see if he can get either a fire built under your ex or a court order to change the title to your name only. |

If the car is in his name it does not matter who made the payments unless you have a court order stating you where awarded the car in the divorce.
You can try to file for a lost title but they will try and contact the person on the title before they sign it over.
you could just get another car so that you don't have to have contact with your ex.
or you could not register it in PA and use a friends address where it is currently registered.
or you can sign his name and if he contests it you can go to jail
good luck |

First 1/2 of the car is his, until you show proof that you paid for the car you will have to take him to court or stay busy after it , hope this helps. |

Get a street corner car sales person to notorize a vehicle power of attorney. Sign your husbands name. Take it to MVD. They do not care as long as no one complains. Your husband will never know the difference. It may cost $10.00 |
