I was banned from driving in uk.i was cought driving without insurance .?

i was caught driving without insurance and gave my friends details to the police who did not have full uk license nor insurance.( because the car is his and registered in his name). now he told the police i was driving, we both are asked to go to court.i got 8 points on my license (full uk) for driving without insurance and was banned for 3 months for speeding.what do you think will happen to me if i go to court.
please help.your help would be very much appreciated.

You tried to pervert the course of justice - in other words you lied your little head of to try and get away with it.

The courts will more than likely lock you up for a few weeks and ban you for driving for a couple of years.

The courts take a very very dim view of people lying to try and get out of offences.

You'll probably get 2 months in gaol. Courts take a dim view of people who take the piss.

you go to jail for driving while you are disqualified plus you gave false details and stuff to the cops so you will get even more time on top of what you would normally get.

You could get further points added to your licence and i long ban OR they could send you too prison for a short time to make an example of you!I dont want to scare you but they want to make sure you will not do it again!

bit silly?....but ive done the exact same..driving whilst disqualified is an inprisonable offence..as long as your sorry and you show remorse they wont send you down...what they did with me was ,and i quote i got ''a 6 months custodial sentence.......[big gap of what seemed like hours].......suspended for 2 years''....i nearly shat myself.

Your question makes no sense because for them to ban you and give you 8 points, you must have gone to court already.

If you mean you already had those and this is a repeat offense, they might lock you up this time.
But with this being the UK, you might get away with it once again.

Bit of a twit were you. You gave your friend's info to try to avoid the consequences. Sounds like jail time and a bit of public transportation for you when you get out.
