It happened 4 days ago, the realization has just sunk in. My car was borrowed and was insured. The damage is not bad at all - one of the reason I thought I would just let it go. But after discussion with my friends, they are urging me to report this incident.
Additional Details
No I was not the offender. I actually pulled over to the side and waited for the guy to pull over as well. All I saw was a white car racing past me.

Report the hit and run incident to the police. If there was damage to the other car, they may be able to find the other party through investigating body shops--but its a long shot.
The next thing would be to place an ad in the newspaper under Public Notices saying: "Anyone with information regarding a Hit and Run accident at_____location on _____ date involving_____ type of vehicles, please contact you." ( in the event that there were witnesses.) |
