Since you had the wrong plates on the car at the time you got the ticket, they will be pleased to know that you now have done the right thing, but you will probably still be found guilty of the switched plates and given a fine to pay. Pay it. Consider yourself lucky if they didn't tow your car right then and there. |

Probably a noticable fine, to make you think next time. I once made my own tags, but it rained and made the color run, I got a couple hundred dollar fine, and had to get the car registered or sell it. The fact that you fixed the problem will look favorably for you. (The officer did say that I did a good job of making the tags, tho, and that if the color hadnt run down the plate, he would have never noticed) |

They will want to know why you did that, and providing that you cannot be linked to any felonies committed by the driver(s) of the vehicle with your own real plates, or the switched plates, during the period in question, you will be fined and admonished by the judge. |

That plate wasn't registered to that car. That's illegal to use another plate on a different car than what the plate is registered to. For all the authorities know that could have been a stolen car or plate. Depends on the just and your prior offenses. You could get some jail time but doubtfull. More than likely a fine and a good reprimand verbally. |

you may have to go to jail for that or get a very very big fine , that place is very big on the law and that so it is very very strict . if you get fined the min amout will probly be something like £200 sorry . anyway why did you do that lol????? |

i was pulled over the other day for driving with ficititious plates on my truck. I didn't have the money to pay for the tags and I had a huge amount of trash in my house I had to throw away. I was not sure if I could even afford to get new plates, but after I got pulled over I quickly went and registered the vehical on line that night. I feel so stupid to have put myself through this. I have been praying for things to go will and i am hoping anyone in this postiton would seriously reconsider the trouble we could be in. |
