Have you reported that you were in an accident? They wont get ahold of you unless you report it.....

If you have, call them and find out. Ask about getting a rental set up and if you have that coverage.

they only give you a rental if its part of your contract, but allstate is great, you will definitely be supplied with a rental dont worry, you will be helped soon, my sister has them and they were great working with her, be patient, and have no fear, your dilema will be over soon. Getting a rental car is a part of your insurance policy. If it's written into the policy you'll get one, if it's not you won't.

If rental coverage is part of your policy, then yes, you will be able to rent a car, but it's not for very long. Pull out your policy and take a look to see if it's on there. It's normally listed as a separate charge. Most people skip towing and rental coverage on their policies in order to get the cheapest rate possible. It's not automatic even if you have full coverage.

I was given a rental car after my car was in the shop for 5 days due to a fender bender. Most insurance companies give a complementary rental car for a short period of time. I've never wrecked a car, but I'm guessing that if you ask they will give you a free car for a few days to get around and to also go purchase your new car.

if it is in your insurance coverage that you are covered for rentals.. call your agent. most of the times, they make you pay for the rentals and they will reimburse you.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope you are okay. As far as the rental car goes, it depends on your insurance policy. Some policy's cover rental cars and others don't. Usually you have to pay a little bit more per month if you want rental coverage. You can look at your plan and see if it covers it. It's usually optional when you set up your plan. If you don't have a copy of your plan, unfortunately you'll have to wait until you hear from Allstate. Good luck!

depends do you have that as part of your policy..if not you are going to have to rent a rental car on your own...progressive is really good about the rental cars in their policies

You need to contact them. in most cases full coverage does have a rental car clause, atleast mine does, but you can remove it to get the price down. Pull out your policy and read it, it should state it in there.
