IF YOUR LIENCE IS REVOKED?

if your are gonna criticise me done both answering.I have been to court to day and got 6 points i know stupid of me but were not all perfect and you cant tell me you have never broke the law cause every one of use has in one wya or another, but just never been caught. sorry but there's ppl on her that dnt answer the question just have a go at you mam my does enuf of that lol .well any way i have been cort to day and got 6 points on my driving licence been driving less that 2 years they said the dvla will ask me to surrender my licence via post if this letter does not come do i just keep diving and not say any thing after all its up to them to ask me for it or tell them they haven't sent me it.

The letter will come, and you will surrender or else the police will come.

If you continue driving you will lose driving privileges for a damn longer time and face jail time or fines.

The letter will come quickly. You probably have a few days at most before you must surrender your license. I suggest you do so as soon as you receive the letter.

If you get caught driving on a suspended or revoked license, not only will you go to jail and face heavy fines and possible jail time, but you would not get your license back for a very long time.

Until you are required to surrender it then you have a licence so you can drive.
The letter will come very quickly though so you need to be sorting out some other means of transport.
Remember that if you have an insured car, and maybe you don't, the insurance is invalid if you do not tell the company about this today and will be invalid when you are back on a provisional licence unless you tell them, they agree to the change and I guess pay them some more money.

The good news, you are not banned, and you can go for the test again. Also look at how much money and trouble you will save yourself if you do not drive!

mate,we all do naughty things when driving..me,ive had around 35 points/fines/disqualifications in my time driving......
regardless if the letter doesn't come,your licence is still revoked weather you send it in or not..the car you got caught in is now a marked car...with police ANPR Cameras the second that number plate is seen the car is pulled as its shows the car driver[you] is unlicensed and it will be pulled over.so unless you have l plates on and a qualified driver your buggered..you will then be banned,and if your caught driving whilst disqal,it can be a prison sentence...

you are allowed to continue driving as u had done until u are asked to surrender. It's not like the 2nd the police catch you committing the offence that'ss caused you toreceivee 6 points that you can't drive or have to instantly go back to provisonal. And yep, once all that happens as u may know you have to reapply for the provisional, go back to driving under provisional license conditions (correctly supervised, l plates, not allowed on m-ways etc), resit both parts of test (theory and practical) before being allowed back on a full license again but the points will still be valid so then another 6 points in next 3 years will of course get you to 12 meaning disqual
And ye m8 ignore those who have a go at you about ur bad driving, we do all make mistakes, even I do, I speed sometimes, I've broken quite a few rules of the road, I'm generally a good safe driver who respects most rules of the road and ye i do break a few and some of them i break deliberatly but none of the major ones like drink driving etc and at least I'm admitting it, unlyk those who have an 'I'm better than you' attitude, thinking they've nver had points in their life so they can have a go at us for the tinyest things like no seat belt, speeding 10mph over the limit etc.

Your license is revoked as of the date of the court order. You have a certain number of days to surrender your license. Whether you receive the letter or not, it is presumed that you received it (court order indicates your knowledge of the revocation). If you are caught driving, you will be cited for driving on a revoked license and if they want, also a contempt of court charge.

6 points does not result in a revocation, normally, unless your offense was a felony or you have additional points on your record within a certain time frame (usually 2-3 years).
