Your friends auto insurance will only cover you (on the policy) if you live together. Other than that, his coverages will be reduced in the event you drive and get into an accident. Try getting a non-owner policy from GMAC or progressive and be safe. |

No, I drove my bosses truck one day and my daughter was in the back seat. She started choking and I was stopped at a light. I looked behind me and did not see anyone there so in a frantic ruxh to get off the road and help my daughter, I backed over the car that was too close to see. I helped my daughter and then checked out the damage. I wasn't on the insurance so when I went to court for the ticket the judge gave me traffic school. I went, the ticket was destroyed and i did not have a problem. The insurance covered everything. The only bad thing was my bosses insurance went up. |

No, but if your of age to drive i would suggest that you have insurance. Most insurance companies only cover certain people under a policy. So if you have insurance on your vehicle then your covered. Just remember you only need proof on insurance if you get pulled over. I hope your friends car though, that kind of thing gets really messy! |
