Only if you report the new parts to the insurance company, and only if your have full coverage. If you do have full coverage and you do report the parts your premium will rise slightly do to the new value of the vehicle(assuming they think it raises the value). If all you got is liability it dont matter cause they wont pay for your car if its wrecked or stolen anyway, so they dont care what valuables are on or in it. |

It's possible, depending on exactly what the changes were. If you don't report a modification and have a claim, you have just given them an out not to cover you, so ignore the advice to go ahead and not tell. If you have changed them to a factory authorized bumper you would be okay of course since nothing would be modified then, only repaired. |
