First take pictures (with date shown) of your vehicle and location of incident, get a police report if you can, get insurance info on anybody else involved in mishap then notify insurance, ...For a recall, there is usually a specified time to address it. |

you got a recall what are you waiting for hit the dealer .and what are you planning to wreck ? if you do you great mind you. your to call the cops then the insurance and they handle it from there. |

Insurance company. Always the insurance company. If there is a recall that may have caused the crash, when you go to the dealership for the insurance company estimate, they will be able to tell you if that had anything to do with it. Then, depending on what your insurance company wants to do, you may want to go after Toyota. But I would think that unless there was severe injury, you probably wouldn't want to go through that hassle. |
