Someone rear-ended me.
I called the insurance company and they said i have a $500 deductible.
Do i have to pay for my own repairs (the $500 part), when I didn't even cause the damage or will the other person have to pay that part?
i'm young, bear with me.

if someone else rear ends you then there insurance will cover it because they were the ones following to closely. the $500 deductible would come into play if you were the one that rear ended someone...then you would pay the five hundred bucks and the insurance would take care of the rest.
if the person that rear ended you only has liability insurance then there insurance will still fix your car but they are going to have to pay for the damages on their car

4 UNLESS you can talk body shop into raising estamite 500 extra...dont laugh many will do it if asked...will not work if insurance co does estamate. |
