Sure, you can use it as a photo ID, but if you get carded at bars I don't think bartenders will allow you to use it. They might think it was an expired one that a friend gave you (happened to me!) :o)
And yeah, for sure it won't work if you get pulled over. |

The whole punch is an indicator of an expired license, no matter what the date it. The DMV punches that hole when you receive your new license. Most policemen know this. |

Depends on if someone wants to take it or not. I'm willing to be the hole was punched over the year of the expiration date effectively making your license expired. Some places will accept an expired license for ID other will not. |

Yes. The hole is punched as an indicator of something. Cops and the like will know what this means, but it is still considered a valid form of ID, until it expires. |
