Yes. It only costs a few dollars extra. I once used AAA but found it was a waste of money. AAA costs something like $39 per year and they only pay for towing up to about 3 miles.
I hit a deer once and had to be towed about 12 miles and it cost me a bunch of money because AAA paid for only part of it. If I had towing on my insurance, it wouldn't have cost me anything.
Ask your insurance agent. |

If you're willing to pay for it, there's always someone out there who's willing to sell it to you. Shop around for the best price and coverage. You can get on-line quotes from several web sites, including these two... |

With most companies you can only get towing if you have physical damage coverage on your vehicle. Without that coverage on your policy, you really should look into AAA. Their membership includes towing, plus you get the travel discounts too! |

Actually I would look into AAA or something like that for towing costs and such. They have great programs! |

Yes you can. Talk to your insurance agent and see what options there are for "upgrading" to include towing and what the "extra cost" would be. |

Once you have established an insurance policy, you as a rule can increase or add coverage to your policy. Each insurance agent can very on what they offer and or will do for you. If they won't increase or expand then look for another agent/company. |

Usually towing is only a extra when a comp and collision policy is purchased and then it only applies to when there is an actual collision.
Best thing to do would be to check into Auto Clubs like AAA and others.
I am sure if you google auto clubs you will get a list. :) |

you sure can, but just like any other coverage, you have to pay to have it on. you do not necessarily have to have collision or comp coverage on the vehicle to have the towing coverage. (i have seen a few without it) but, as other people have said, you may be getting a bigger bang for your buck if you go through AAA. i would look to your insurance company and find out how much they would charge to have that put on your car, and then compare it with a quote you should be able to get from AAA. see where the bigger benefits for your buck will come in. |

I'm an insurance agent and I'll tell you that it will depend on which company you're with. Most will offer towing even if you just carry liability. You can always call your agent or your company and talk to them about adding other endorsments onto your policy, like Glass or Loss of Use in case your car is wrecked and you need a rental car, etc. I would suggest keeping your liability limits as high as possible even if you're not carrying comp or collision. The state limits are often way lower than what they should be at. Keep yourself safe by having high limits, you'll pay only a little more and you can have way more coverage. Its a no brainer. Good luck. |

I believe so..or go directly through AAA. They are good..you can use your AAA even if you are in a car that has a flat...even if it ain't yours :D People that don't drive can have AAA, for that reason alone :) |

most insurance companies will help you with this, but there are a few that wont. the best answer that any one can give you is talk to your rep. and find out what is best for your situation. then just by chance call a couple of other agencies just to find out what they tell you. you never know anymore who is out there just to rack the cost up on us. |

Yes, you can. Just talk to your agent. It's very easy to update your insurance policy. I would totally recommend you to have towing and car rental. You never know... |
