Only if you tell them but if you don't you are not covered.

Yes it does. I had 3 points on mine and thought I would just check with my insurance company. They amended my policy and I think it was only an extra £20 a year

I'm afraid so. They consider points a "risk"

It very much depends on the nature of the motoring offense, but yes, it should increase your premium (as you are shown to be a bad risk).

It all depends on your insurance company and how many points you have.

Yes it can effect the insurance.
Most people dont inform their insurance companies though which can invalidate the insurance.

Best way is to drive within speed limits
and dont drink and drive,
also dont cross red traffic lights
and dont park on double yellow lines
and dont stay in the yellow junction box.

phew that was long list abut at least this way you wont get any points

a couple of speeding points wont make much difference but if you have poits for anything more serious it can cost a whole lot more in some cases complete refusal to insure
it all depends on the offences committed.
over the last few years points for speeding have generally been disregarded by insurance companies

Can do yes ,

well it does not matter as much now as it did a few years ago!! but you will pay a little bit more. but not that much unless you have 8 or 9 points, so happy driving and don't get anymore!!

Your car insurance premium is likely to increase the more offences you sustain. So that's a Y E S!

it affects your insurance for sure because if you have points they are taking a bigger risk on you so you will have to pay

On the Sleigh (again!)
No, it is just for entertainment purposes.

What do you think?

Not necessarily; most insurance companies ignore the odd 3 points for speeding. Do tell them, though, otherwise they can (quite rightly) say you didn't inform them of relevant facts and invalidate your cover.

It puts the costs up massively and a lot of insurers will not insure drivers with convictions.

No, your car insurance remains in effect.
