yes in most cases if you find it or come up with it ,they will dismiss any ticket you have been given as long as the insurance was in effect when you got the ticket,if you went out and got the insurance after you got the ticket,you may have to pay it,good luck on it,i hope this help,s. |

It depends on what state you live in and the laws on it.I know in Georgia,you HAVE TO HAVE a insurance card AND the VIN number has to registered with the GEIC system of the state.(Your insurance comp is required to do that)Some states give you time to produce it,however it better be coverage for the date you were caught without it. |

Just sign the ticket. Then show up before your court date to the clerk's office with your insurance card in hand (if you can't find the original card, have your agent print you a new one) and the chances are they will dismiss the ticket and you won't have to appear. |
