ok so 2 weeks ago, i was backing out of my parking spot, and there was a big truck to my right and a guy that was parkd directly beind me sideways on th curve (mind you there were a billion and one other parking spots he couldve parked in he just didnt want to walk far). well i knicked hs car trying to back out mind you he was in the car, so i got out and there was no damaged to where i hit him, and he said its fine. well yesterday i got a call from my nco who said the MPs wanted to speak to me. so apparently thee mustve been a dent and whys he reporting it 2 weeks later when he couldve called the MP;s right away.... so whose at fault?

You were driving. You hit a parked car. You are at fault. It doesn't matter that the car was illegally parked or that the claimant waited 2 weeks to report the damage. You were still negligent.r |

I'm afraid whether his car was parked legally or not, you reversed into, what appears to have been, a clearly visible object. The fault must be yours. As to why he left it for two weeks, that you must ask him. |

Since he reported it first you would be a fault, they will investigate this but they will still find you at fault..... |

matter really matters here is who was driving and hit a park car... so whose at fault? sorry you seen car you knew it was in awat but yet you drove into it well sorry you hit a park car. your at fault |

Your fault- you struck a parked vehicle. It doesn't matter if it was legally parked or not- you struck a parked vehicle.
Also in 99.9% of all collisions involving a vehicle that is backing up- the vehicle backing is at fault. |
