Ok, I know your mommy and daddy give you everything you want, but that's not the real world. You have to play by the rules just like the rest of us. It's time to grow up and face facts. The world does not and will not revolve around you. In fact, there are so many states involved in the graduated license program, you'll be 17 by the time you get your license.

Almost all states require you to be sixteen before becoming licensed to drive. The reason that they "allow" you to get a learner's permit at fifteen, is to give you a year to practice before actually getting out on the road by yourself. While most kids look forward to getting their license, it's not a party like most of them think. Driving well is actually a responsibility that takes practice and experience to do right. Without that year of driving with an experienced driver on board, you wouldn't be able to react to situations that come at you fast and require split-second decision making.
I know for a fact, I don't want a bunch of unexperienced kids driving out there with me. It's already bad enough with the amount of 16-18 year olds along with the 70+ drivers who have lost their "edge" and need to turn in their licenses.
Driving isn't just the fun thing that all kids seem to think that it is. Whenever you are on the road, you have a lot of people's lives at stake including your own. The less experience and emotional, as well as mental, maturity that you have, the more likely someone will get hurt or killed as a result of an accident that was your fault.
Just go through the program like everyone else and learn to drive the smart and safe way.

Well, it really depends on what state you live in. If you lived in Montana you would be able to get your license at 15 whereas if you lived in California you would have to wait until you reach 16. However, there are some rare cases where junior permits are issued to people from 14-17 to drive to and from specific locations to prevent hardships on the family or themselves. (For example: medical or financial needs or transportation to school). This is true in California, but not necessarily other states so, like I said, it really depends on where you live. Look up the licensing laws for your area.
Although, why are you in such a hurry to get your license? The laws are in place for a reason so don't try to find a loophole just because you are impatient.

A permit is a licence to learn to drive. You can't get behind the wheel to learn without it. You have to have a minimum amount of driving experience with the permit. The rules are there for everybody, they are the same for everybody, and you can't circumvent them just because you want to.

If you lived in Idaho, you could drive at 14. Maybe you you get your parents to move there so you can drive?

No, step one is the permit, and the practice with an adult in the vehicle. All that is before you even think about taking the test for the license.

Of course you can skip those steps if you'd like to wait until age 18.

well you can get a hardship license. i have been considering that. it just depends on what state you live in. It also depends on if you can get it. You actually have to have a reason to drive basically. An example is like your mom cant drive and she needs you to be able to drive her to dr. appts and things like that. It just depends. Give it a try if you actually think you can quailify.There are restrictions on the hardship license. just go research it on your state DMV website.
