If you have to ask that question, you shouldn't be driving. No one gets a license without taking a written test and a road test. |

yes sweety you have to take it ,both written one and if you live in montreal you have to wait for six month for the driving test and in these 6 months you have to practive,hope i could helped you. chaos |

of course you do! Do you think they just hand them out like candy once you hit the magical number of 18? Some states even require waiting periods of 30-180 days where you have a training license and can only drive with a licensed adult (similar to program for 16 and 17 year olds only without the classes attached). You will have to take a written test and a driving test before you will get your license regardless. If you move to another state you almost always have to take another written test and sometimes a driving test to get that state's license even if you have a valid one somewhere else.
I would not want to drive in a country where driver's licenses get handed out to anyone once they are 18 without checking to make sure they at least know what all the road signs mean. Would you? |
