I bought it from a buy here pay here place. I asked them and all they said was it was a bank. Not too much help. ya know. It is automatically deducted from my bank account every week. im at the point in my loan where i owe less than a full payment. im talking like 30 bucks.i should have looked at the bank account number where this money was going but i wasn't thinking and just stopped the automatic payment. i figured i'd get a call from someone wanting their money. or even a repo threat. which would be FINE because at least then id know who to pay the last bit of money so i can get my title. who can i contact to get this information??

When you reach an operator, explain to them exactly what you just explained here. With some additional information (VIN#, Names on the title, Mailing Address, etc...) they may be able to tell you over the phone. They will most definitely have this information recorded on file but if they restrict information due to privacy policies, they'd probably be able to at least point you in the right direction of where or whom to call. If that's the case, I'd imagine they'd give you the lienholder's information if you walked into a DMV with proper identification.
