Well buckle up first thing. If you will be doing a track course type test, then just carefully follow the directions. If you are doing a drive about town test, then follow all traffic signs, follow speed limit for sure...blinkers, so on...be sure to come to complete stop at stop sign...don't slow down and roll through it. And whatever you do....don't hit the side of the brick wall at the license place when parking the car after test like I did and say s**t very loudly! The man giving me my test said "it's ok, you still passed" ! Good luck! You will do just fine I'm sure! |

Remember to breath so you won't be so nervous and pay attention to everything!! I tapped the curb on the parallel parking test and didn't notice because I was so nervous so the guy flunked me!! I felt like such a loser but I took it again and it was fine, that was 20 years ago. Good luck! |

Just relax and don't think about the examiner in the car. Act like he/she isn't there.
Good luck! |

Make sure you windshield wipers work, lights, blinkers, and brights. Those simple things can get you disqualified right off the bat. If you have a nice parent have them sit while you take them on a drive and see what they can pick up.
If this is your first time relax, i'd say about 75% of people don't pass there first time just so you "think about" what you did wrong. Even though you probably did everything right. They just like you to do it twice to solidify your need for "safety."
Side Note: 90% of people stink at parallel parking, and so you're not alone. |

Be careful, take a deep breath and you will be fine! It's just a test. |

Put your seat belt on! Be sure to signal all the time! Look both ways.... Drive the speed limit and last bt not least come to complete stops. Oh and when your parallel park take your time. |

dont speed
use your turn signal
dont get all road-ragey....it'll freak the instructor out
also, take your time on the parallel parking, you can go slow but you can't undo a mistake |

if your testing site uses the marking poles for Parallel parking and the 180 backing piece, what ever you do, do not hit those poles. watch your speed. and you have been driving for 1.5 yrs. just relax and think of it as taking a relative to the store. don't try to talk to the tester and no radios either. |

always make sure to put your seat belt on....and also adjust your mirrors after buckling up....easy on the brakes |

Don't exceed the speed limit. Make sure you look behind your shoulder when you back up the car. |

#1 Due on 12/22/08!
 |
just take it nice and slow, pay extra attention to right away, speed, lights, and stop signs, just dont be too nervous b/c that will sometimes cause you to make a mistake, good luck! |

do not speed AT ALL. if you dont go the speed limit, assume it is 25. Always look over your shoulder when you merge or switch lanes, and always use your blinker. Make sure you are good at paralell parking, and can back up strait. Dont forget to put your blinkerS on while doing the yturn, and always watch your mirrors. You MUST TURN YOUR HEAD to check your blind spots to switch lanes. Dont forget if you are in the right lane turning right, you better turn into the right lane on the street your turning to. If you quick go to the left lane instead of the right lane, blinking over to the left lane, you will be pennalized |

Hah I was so nervous that I failed several due to being tricked, be aware of being told to turn left or right while in the wrong lane, or instructed to park next to a yellow curb, go straight at a red light, etc. Also make sure you look in the mirror every ten seconds or something, buckle your seatbelt, make sure they buckle theirs (they may not just to see if you notice).
You can't really make sure that you pass, if you don't make it this time do some research on driving courses in your area and just go to the easiest one. |

Some evaluators will put you into a situation that might cause you to panic and do something stupid so they can fail you. Keep your head and calmly do whatever they ask as safely as possible. If you don't understand what the person asks you to do, then have him/her repeat what they said. |

Make sure you have someone drive you to the test. If they know you drove yourself, they can fail you right up front. Also, put the seat belt on first. |

Explain everything you're doing. I pulled up a tiny bit when we first started because there was a huge truck behind me and I couldn't see around it and they failed me for supposedly pulling out without turning on my signal...
Lame. |

Dont get nervous. Take a deep breath before test. Make sure all lights are working. Make sure you turn signal light on when you turning. Make sure looking both side and FULL STOP at stop sigh full stop period ..make sure how you handle the stearing wheel...Listen to instructor carefully what he/she is telling you to do so.....I think you can do well. That's it.. |
