A lot, but the only way to get a proper quote is to phone around the insurance companies.
There is no set price as it depends on many factors such as occupation, area, age of car, etc etc etc

Depends on many factors, where you live, is the car kept off road , garaged etc in the evening, do you have any convictions. An older person named on the policy can reduce premiums. Also raising the voluntary excess can reduce premiums.

My first car was a 1litre Nissan Micra - due to it's age I only insured it 3rd party, fire and theft and as a female with no previous points (you can get points on your license as a learner), it cost me Â£450 a year.

My first insurance company I used was www.its4me.co.uk but they were incredibly slow sending me my no claims certificate when I switched insurers a year later.
