In recent accident,my insurance found out about a past accident that wasn't reported.Should I tell m the accid?

I had an accident year ago and did not reported. Pay for it all on my own. Just couple weeks ago I had another accident and my insurance company is on my case about the previous accident that I did not report. They are saying that, they seen a repair on the car and to continue fixing the car I need to report the for the previous accident? I deny it. But...
What do you think they are trying to do? Should I just say yes, and accept the previous.accident?? Please help. I have to give them a call tomorrow morning.

It was a poor decision to pay on your own as you just found out. They are protecting themselves because they won't pay for any "unfixed" prior damage.
