In which states can legal residents switch British driving licenses for a US license without taking a test?

I am legal permanent resident with a British driving license about to relocate to America. I know regulations differ from state to state and was wondering which US states if any allow residents to switch their overseas licenses for US driving licenses without having to take and pass a driving test. I could be wrong but believe Washington allows this. Is there any way of finding out what rules apply in each state in one place instead of going to websites of every state.

However, note that you can only get a license in your state of residence, not any state of your choice.

As "Gomanyes" said, you don't get to pick and choose. You MUST get your U.S. Drivers License, Auto Registration, and Auto insurance in the state you reside in. Understand that it is also illegal to possess a Driver License from more than one state at a time. Since traffic laws are often different between countries I doubt you will find any state that will allow you to get a driver license without taking the various tests.
