Of coarse! Why do you think you see people holding their neck everytime you see an accident? |

Yep, that's what the insurance is for. |

It all depends on what state the accident occurred in. You need to meet the tort requirements for the state where the loss occurred.
Some states have verbal thresholds, some monetary, and in others you have to have sustained a "serious" injury.
Contact the adjuster handling your claim, and let him/her know you were injured and are treating. They will explain the Bodily Injury(Pain & Suffering) process to you. |

You can claim damages for personal injury from a negligent driver - usually a few thousand.
Have you got a legal expenses insurance policy in force either as part of or in addition to your normal car insurance policy? If so the insurers should be the people to contact. (They would be recovering your excess as well).
If you have had to go to a solicitor to recover your excess then they will make a claim for whiplash injuries as well.
The procedure is rather complicated so, like most insurance matters, you should have professionals to help you. |

yes as long as the acciendent was her fault . . . |

Whiplash can take a long time to recover from, I'm still in pain on a daily basis from a minor whiplash injury 3 months ago. Make sure you don't settle your claim until the pain has completely gone. |

The very first thing you need is a GOOD LAWYER. Get your case started before it runs out of time. He'll take over from there. Believe me, you'll need him.
Be prepared for it to run a couple of years. Ours is in it's 2nd. Hit in 06 by a California 18 wheeler. |

sue the other party, get more money. the money wont come right from the other party, they will just raise the other party rates. put it this way if you don't sue u might only make 1,000$ for pain and suffering but if you do sue you will make about 3,000$ for pain in suffering. |

Yes, you sure can. Her insurance should pay all of your medical bills resulting from this accident. |
|

Elizabeth
|
Yes, any medical bills that you accumulated as a result of an accident should be directly paid by her insurance company. |

Yes absolutely, keep good records of your medical visits and expenses. Also, if they choose not to claim it then GET A LAWYER. |

Yes. But be prepared for her insurance to take you or your insurance to court. |
