I'm planning on financing a 2006 Mazda 3 and I called my insurance agent to get prospective rates. I checked rates for both the mazda 3s and 3i. The 3s was way too high, so I'm gonna forget about getting that. The 3i was still pretty high, I was quoted $880 for 6 months, which is about $150 a month. I'm 27 and have a clean record, aside from an accident which was proven to be the other person's fault. Does that rate sound too high? In addition, I'm insured through allstate under my dad's policy, which should make it lower i thought. Are other mazda 3 owners out there paying this much?
