I just purchased a vehicle that is at a tow yard and was impounded by the local police. I purhcased the car from the guiy who was pulled over in the car. My question is do I have to have the car insured before I can drive it off the impound lot?
The title has already been transferred into my name, and I plan on picking up the car in the next day or two, am i already covered if i am a licenced driver who already has insurance or not. Or do I have to specifically call my agent and have it set up under this particular car before I pick it up from the lot?
