I don't feel like paying Victor Manning $400 to take Drivers' Ed. My friend suggested DriversEd.com to get my information for my permit instead of sitting in classroom... Will the DMV in my state accept that as a legitimate source? Has anyone else?

Yes, depending what state you are from. DriversEd.Com is DMV approved in most states and they list them on their website what states will accept their certificate of completion.
Its a great course, with case- studies, movies, and fun quizzes. Taking drivers ed is kinda lame either way, but it beats the heck out of sitting in a classroom during the weekend. I took it online with them and loved it. Plus if you get stuck, they have 24/7 customer support available, this is a first for online drivers ed companies. |

I have no idea if your state would accept it or not, and since you neglected to mention a state, I can't check for you.

Sure It could be legit. The only thing he would need is a road worthy car, be 21yrs & over with a valid drivers license. But you should make sure he has a duel brake and a driving Instructors Certificate, and commercial ins. and that's only for your safety.
Plenty of Instructors teach kids to drive in their spare time. |
