Is a lien valid if its not properly noted on the back of a title?

it doesnt say in the spot provided on the back of my title that there is a lien on my truck,but i know there is :) does this mean it is invalid since it isnt properly noted and marked in space indicated and no lien?

Not really as most liens are reported to the state government on a separate piece of paper so that it is guaranteed to be registered with the state government. Liens are a big deal now and most governments want more than one piece of Documentation showing one actually exists. You may be able to cause some questions but the dealer or bank will prevail in the long run.

It means that someone didn't do the paperwork properly, that's all. You're still making payments, right? In fact, in most states you wouldn't even have the title, the lender would keep the title until the car/truck is paid off. Then you get a title with just your name on it.
