I have fully comp insurance with my husband as the named driver. Is he covered Third party to drive any other vehicle?

If this is a UK question then NO he isn't automatically insured to drive other vehicles. It may also not allow you to drive other vehicles, you need to check your policy and make sure you are covered.
The best way to find out is to ask your insurance company. |

Only the policy holder will be and only then if stipulated by your policy documents . . . and even then the "other" car MUST be insured to the minimum legal requirement. |

On my insurance my named driver isn't! I don't think they are on most insurance policies....although it is worth phoning up to check. |
