Is the damage worth as much or more than the excess on your policy and is your no claims protected so future premiums won't be increased. Also does the damage affect the value of your car or will it de-value it when you decide to sell it on. |

Depends on your insurance, third party only: no. Third party fire and theft; I believe so if it was part of a robbery but not otherwise, comprehensive yes; But check your excess, you may end up paying for most of the repairs. |

If your cover is full comp then yes.. but if you've got TPFT it depends on your policy. I was with churchill and when I read through the policy conditions I remember it stating that I was covered for any act of vandalism as well as theft so it's worth reading through yours to see if you're covered. |

Genarally yes, but you will normally have to pay an excess and if damage is slight and if you dont have protected no claims you may ultimately lose out when the time comes to re-insure. |

depends what happened. If it's your windscreen then almost certainly. Some companies decided that TPFT covers vandalism... most don't.
If you're fully comp then yes but it could affect your no claims. If you know who did it then report it to the police and try to get your ins comp to recover the money.. afraid they probably won't have any luck though and you'll have to pay the excess and see the prems go up. Just not fair!!! |

Vandalism is covered under the Comprehensive part of your insurance. If you didn't buy "Comprehensive" or "FTCAC", vandalism isn't covered. |
