Is driving a car difficult?
Find answers to your legal question.

Is driving a car difficult?

It will be awhile before I start driving, but when I ask people who drive I get mixed-reactions. My dad says its nice to have the freedom, my mother says driving a car is a huge responsibility and you need to always be safe and aware, which sounds like the opposite of what my dad says..., my cousin says its easy, you just have to look everywhere... which doesn't help reassure me... I am thinking if I should drive at all... So, what is your experience with driving?

Don't worry, You can do it! Cheers =D

I'm in the country which have a lot of car accident, but the rules still the same driver don't want to bump into you the same as you don't want to bump into them.

No, it's not hard to actually do the driving. Although some people never seem to get the hang of actually being good at it. And your mother is right, it is a huge responsibility. It's not something to fool around with.

I failed my driver license when I was 17 years old. I went for it again at 22 years old. Sometimes it takes awhile, but never give up.

As long as you can stay focused and watch what you're doing, you'll be fine

Gossip Girl
Oh don't worry it's a piece of cake. It takes a bit of practice and yes, it is a big responsibility, but you'll get the hang of it in no time!

Oh ok.

It's not hard at all. But you just need to make sure that you're always paying attention. That may sometimes be hard to do but it is always necessary.

driving is easy! unless its a stick shift, that takes some getting used to but once you do second nature. really, you have nothing to worry about (unless you've got shitty depth perception).

Your mom is afraid you'll crash, so that's why she's telling you to be so careful. The problem with teen drivers is that their confidence exceeds their skill. They think that because they can operate a car, and it feels like it's easy, and it's familiar, like riding a bike, that they think they're good. The problem is, they don't have any - really zero experience in emergency situations.

Just watch what happens the first time the back end gets loose around a corner. Most beginners, and even most experienced drivers will over-correct.

The cause of most roll-overs is over-correction. They drift off the right side of the road and then when they turn to get back on, the back right tire gets caught on the burm. Then the car starts turning left, into oncoming traffic. The driver cranks the wheel right, but doesn't crank it back left quickly enough when the car veers to the right. This transition from sliding one way to sliding the other way causes the car to roll at high speeds. The proper way to get back on the road is to slow waay down and ease it back on.

It's stuff like that that will humble a driver really quickly.

Driving is super easy. Ever notice that everybody can do it? But extreme driving like emergency situations, racing, drifting, etc. take lots of practice. A realistic racing simulator can help greatly with this type of practice.

it just depends on you as a person,
personally when i am driving i have to check the mirrors every few seconds and be aware of what's going on around me
you mother is right, driving is a huge responsibility, if you screw up someone could be dead or seriously hurt.

Driving is easy. As long as you learn the laws and stuff and you know how to operate the car, its not a problem! Just make sure that you study the book they give you from the DMV, and do a lot of practice while you have your permit, so you'll be prepared for the test.

It's definitely a big responsibility, and can be super dangerous if you don't focus on what you're doing while driving the car.

Other than that, you should be fine. Good luck!

practice with your dad in the passenger seat in a place that gives you a lot of room for error, meaning you don't hit anything. It's not hard but you must always be aware. remember your moving around in a 3000lb hunk of metal and plastic.

I have terrible experiences with driving, including running into my house!! haha but it's not that bad!! I am getting the hang of it, it's just extremely nerve racking at first!!! if you practice a lot then you will become a lot better driver!! your parents are BOTH right: it's a huge responsibility and you must be cautious and safe, and it is a very nice freedom to have :)

Don't worry! just take deep breathes and get a ton of experience before you get your license!

driving itself is easy and easy to learn. the freedom is great, but it is a huge responsibility because you have to be aware. I recommend taking drivers education when your old enough and never drive in a environment that you are not comfortable in like (snow or heavey rain). I think onces you get behind the wheel it will be Ok just dont freak out.

Its real easy to just drive a car. Its the paying attention to the road and your surroundings that is the hard part. And of course, the idiots out on the road with you.
