You can get a learner's voucher through driver's ed, but I had to take my driver's license "road test" at the DMV still.
All drivers ed class does is help you realize how stupid everyone else drives and you take the same written test (equivalence) at school. I think you may save some money, but that's it. I am glad that I took driver's ed though. It has probably saved me from a few jacked up road instances, as far as knowing what to do. |

Well, there are millions of stories talking about how the lines of the DMV are killer, that is a fact. What you can do is, once its your turn, take the test, then the license is yours if you pass
But driver's ed school takes days of actual education learning about the safeties and proper handling of the vehicle. Depending from YOUR experience with cars, that's how you pick.

If your under18 you have to take drivers ed first. At least in California which is why I waited until I turned 18 so I wouldn't need to pay for drivers ed. I went to the DMV and the test was easy. |

ok well the drivers ed class usually takes u to the local dmv but taking the drivers ed course lowers ur insurance (better driver kinda thing) cause u had training |

its been a few years since ive had to make that choice but im pretty sure its still the same now it hasnt been that long ago. Go through the driver ed program cause it will give you a discount on most insurance policies. |
