How long can someone drive a foreign (Eurpean) registered car in the U.K. without having to reregister it. Could they drive back to Poland once a year without having to reregister it?

It is legal to buy a car in Poland and bring it to the UK.
However, if you live in the UK, you will have to officially import it, and get it registered in the UK.
If you are a visitor to the UK (with a permanent address in another country), for example on holiday or a business trip, then you do not have to register it.
Taking it out of the country once a year will not make any difference - if you live here most of the year, and the car is here most of the year, it must be registered here. |

It is legal to buy in poland and drive in the UK - however, as a UK resident you would have to "import" it into the UK and get it re-registered, taxed etc.
No, you could not just drive it to Poland once a year and not register it. |
