Yes but it is not usually necessary since if you have a valid license and permission to drive an insured car you will be covered under the vehicles policy |

You can obtain temporary cover on a vehicle not owned by you on production of a current driving licence for that type of vehicle and the requisite bundle of roubles.It is far easier for the owner of the vehicle to phone their insurer and add you to their policy.Consult-CONFUSE.COM |

Yes, theoretically, AS LONG AS it's incidental.
It's called a "named nonowner" policy.
BUT. If you live in a household where anyone you live with has a car, it won't cover you driving any car you own, or any car owned by someone you live with, or any car regularly available to you - like grandma's car, or your girlfriend's car.
Plus, it's really hard to find an agent willing to give you that kind of policy - because MOST of the time, it's not going to do what you want (which is usually, to avoid paying high rates by being added to someone else's car). |
