I got a DUI about 2 months ago and i was wondering if it was possible to get a permit to ride a scooter to and from school. I know you can get the permit for a class c liscence if you take the DUI classes but they are pretty pricey, and well i need transportation and the bus just doesnt cut it for my schedule.

If your driving privileges have been suspended, you cannot get a license to drive any type of vehicle.
Granted some states do have programs that do allow you to keep a restricted license so you can drive to work, doctor's appointments,& get groceries- but that is told to that person while in court or at the DMV Administrative Hearing when they go for their suspension/revocation hearing if they are eligible for the restricted license.
In your case, you will have to contact your local DMV office & see what options are available to you in the way of a restricted work only license.
Since driving is a privilege & not a right, you may have little or no options available to you in this case. |
