i live in canada. i've had insurance before but was cancelled for non-pay. I know i was taking a chance. i'm still looking for insurance though. this is the first time this happened to me.

get insurance policy asap and show judge you resolved this issue. 90% judge will erase your ticket if you can get issue fixed asap. if you snooze on it like 3 weeks later then you might deserve the ticket. |

It appears that your closing the barn door AFTER the horse got out. It's too late for the Ticket Itself, that's probably a done deal But It won't hurt for you to appear in the court with Insurance. When you go on your date the Judge will probably ask you to produce insurance. You didn't say when your insurance (You did@one time or another have insurance, didn't you? Like I said, It won't hurt as much as it will help. Good luck |

You can still get insurance coverage. You'll still have to pay whatever fees come along with your citation when you got pulled over though. But you can get insurance coverage at any time, as long as you have a valid license. |

NO it's not too late.
You're may think all you're risking is a traffic fine or penalty, but you are also risking your quality of life and anyone who rides in the car with you, or drives on the same roads as you.
What are you going to do if you seriously injure yourself or someone else? Needing surgery and years of therapy but you can't afford it? |
