I have my own car now and insurance, but I want to get rid of it and just drive my bf's extra car around. Is that legal because he has insurance on his cars? This is in Pennsylvania. Thanks.

Insurance follows the car, not the driver, so you're OK to drive as long as the BF has insurance. However, if you'll be driving often, say more than once a week or so, you need to be listed as a driver. |

Broadly speaking, if you will be driving the car regularly you'd need to be listed as a second driver.
That's still cheaper than running your own insurance.

To add to the first answer, you should be aware that if you are stopped or have an accident, depending on the reason, your bf could be liable. |

You can't live in the same residence. If you do, you need to be listed on the policy. Also, if they find out that your using it on a regular basis, you might have some hoops to jump through. But technically, yes you can drive his car as long as he has it legally insured. |
