Is there a course to cancel a red light Traffic offence?

If you get caught by a camera going through a red light is there a course you can go on to stop the points going on your license? I know there is a course you can go on to stop points going on your license for speeding fines.

Nope - the only course you can go on is the one to the bank to withdraw Â£60 and send it to the government.

A red light offence is usually penalised with 3 penalty points and a Â£60 fine. The points count from the date of the offence. Penalty points count on a licence for three years from offence but must stay on your licence for four years.

If you are at risk of 12 points you will need an exceptional hardship defence .

There is no requirement for traffic light cameras to be painted yellow or indeed any other warning given as to their presence

No. Going through a red light is a tad more serious than being 10% over any speed limit.

You should also be aware that a Speed Awareness Course is NOT something that you can ask for, instead of getting points for speeding.
It may only be offered by the courts, if they think you will benefit from it. If not, you'll get the points.

no and there isnt one for speeding either, you still get points if you do the course just not as many and you can only do the course if you were doing upto ten mph over, anything over that and you have to get points and a fine.
try driving around assuming there is nothing you can do to get out of it, stopping at red lights and not speeding, then you should be fine.
