On October 31, 2008, i rear-ended a car park on the side of the road as i was backing up. This occurred a little before 10 at night and i woke up the owner and we exchange info. This all happen within my first 6 months of obtaining my drivers license. A week later i received a letter from the DMV containing driving restrictions due to an accident occurring in my first 6 months. They will be in effect until March 9, 2010 when i become 18 years of age. These restrictions include not being able to drive others unless accompanied by a driver of 21 years or older and not being able to drive between the times of 1am to 5am unless accompanied with someone 21 years or older. My question is, is there any action i can take that can remove the restrictions and erase the accident off my record? I live in Washington state and i am wondering if taking traffic school will resolve his problem of mine. Also its been about 6 months since the accident so am i too late to do anything?
