I'm in the US so my answer may not be applicable to your country.

If you have full coverage insurance, let your insurance company take care of the mess with the other insurance company. They will generally try to get you a fair settlement unless both parties are insured by the same company.

You didn't indicate whether or not the other driver was cited as at fault for the accident. If so, this would strengthen your case when you take him to court.

You should not settle for less than actual medical costs including those that may occur in the future as a result of this accident. If you lost time and income while recovering from your injuries, you should go after them for that as well. Last, but certainly not least, they need to pay you to repair your vehicle or at least fair market price if the vehicle is considered unrepairable.

You will probably need an attorney to help you with all this.

get a lawyer. it may cost you a little bit or your settlement, but you'll proabably get a better deal in the end. don't just settle with the insurance company without getting legal advice! they're going to try to sell you as short as possible. your medical expenses should definitely be covered.

Visit a lawyer as soon as possible, You should get 10-20 times that amount, NEVER deal with the insurance company. They are just out to screw you. A lawyer will handle the case for free (no money out of your pocket) they get paid when they win.

Go to court. Medical bills will run way,way, way, way, higher than what you're being offered.

Always fight it or make a bigger deal with them.
Ask for all your medical bills paid and a few dollars more. If you know for a fact that the other drive was at fault then you can get more. Just dont get gready.

Get yourself the best accident attorney you can find and until you do sign NOTHING whatsoever. Also do NOT SPEAK TO ANYONE FROM HIS INSURANCE COMPANY even on the phone until you have hired your own attorney.

That is very low considering your medical bills will be a lot higher.
I was involved in a situation like this. When you go through the courts there will be stress and costs up front. You will want to find a good attorney who is not just out for money. But in the end they will either have to pay you because the court will side with you (if the evidence is in your favor) or they will not want to go to court and they will offer you a higher amount.
Keep all records of your medical bills. Talk to your friends who may know a good attorney.

FIRST OF ALL WAS THE ACCIDENT HIS FAULT COMPELETLY AND IF SO THEN I WOULD ASK FOR ALL MEDICAL BILLS PRESENT AND FUTURE AND I WOULD ALSO TURN DOWN THAT MONEY BECAUSE HE IS TRYING TO BUY YOU OFF. TALK TO YOUR LAWYER AND FIND OUT YOUR OPIONS BEFORE YOU SETTLE OUT OF COURT.
