Ive got my driving test on Thursday any tips I'm nervous?

Think defensively. Don't ever go into a situation without knowing that whatever happens, you could deal with it. e.g. If you go round a corner, imagine that a motorcyclist could be lying in the road just round the corner where you can't see, and you don't want to be running him over. But equally, don't be too hesitant - you want to show competence rather than nervousness. Remember to check speed signs every time you turn into a new road, and look out for unmarked crossroads! They're a real pain. With maneuvers, take your time and get it right - they'd prefer to see a maneuver executed well and at a steady pace than one executed quicker but with less accuracy.

Just remain calm and in control, and if you make a mistake, don't get flustered over it - that's a sure way to fail. Just keep going and show that you are still in control. And if you fail, so what. You can take it again, so don't put yourself under undue pressure to pass.

Treat it like an unaided driving lesson. And remember to stop at unmarked crossroads. If you do something wrong apologize and ask if you can do it again, sometimes they realize that it was a mistake that anybody could make. I did my reversing round a corner twice because I thought the first try was rubbish. Turned out I didn't need to! I failed mine on not stopping at an unmarked crossroads. Just that!!! So I gave up. Now I use public transport, which is a fraction of the cost of owning a car. Until Stagecoach take over in my area that is. They've started to appear on local roads. Hard times are coming. Then of course, I'll get a car, because it will be cheaper. Best of luck with your test.

Make sure your examiner sees everything you do like checking your mirrors etc (don't go over the top, just make sure it's obvious by moving your head). Follow the examiner's instructions exactly, especially when it comes to directions.

Just be sure to STOP before you turn right on red and definitely don't pull out in front of anyone.

Just drive the speed limit and do complete stops. ANd talking to the tester makes it more relaxed too.

I just took my test this morning, and passed. My dad told me over and over, "just remember: DRIVE THE CAR. JUST DRIVE THE CAR." lol
it's pretty scary having someone next to you evaluate your every move, but just stay cool and take deep breaths. Best of luck to you!! :)

Don't stare at the left mirror while reversing, use a little more throtle than usual to prevent stalling (i stalled twice and still passed)

Drive in a place like play ground for some time. with your own boundaries, then in a place where u can not find any traffic then finally places with the traffic.

I had my test 3 weeks ago and i passed. You've just got to fully concentrate and make sure you look at your mirrors every 4 seconds. Whenever the examiner looks directly at you they want you to look at your mirrors. Always plan and look ahead and always drive on the left when there are no vehicles parked or obstructing. Fell confident and presume the examiner is a friend. Good luck.
