hi was wondering if you could advise me what im to do.ive had a provisional drivers licence for approx 5 yrs .i now want to learn to drive so i obviosly need it and cant think for the life of me where it could be ive turned the house upside down.what do i need to do to get another? thanks.

Go to the Post Office and get a form. There is a box on the back to tick if your original was lost or stolen.
(I'm gonna count how many dumb yanks advise you to visit the "DMV"...)

Hi,
Good post. I had some problems with my car after I had an accident. My Insurer wanted to raise my rates $525 a year! I've never even gotten a speeding ticket!
I looked for a new provider and found this website:

They compare all of the major insurance providers and give you the best deal. I ended up saving over $300 from what I was previously paying (that's $825 a year!).

I also have a provisional and tried to book my theroy the other day. They adviced me cause I do not have a photo graphic id I have to get a new provisional. The said I could get a form from the local post office to fill out though since you have lost this is you can not remember your licience number you may have to call them first.

You have to apply for the new one. They should have your records on file. Just inform them you lost it & it should be replaced. |

You need to repost it lost or stolen to the dvla. Try asking at the post office. Chances are you'll have to pay for a replacement. How longs it been missing coz people could use your details from it for identity fraud. |

Hello, you do need to get your licence, you need to get a form from the post office fill in the back of it and send it off, you can still drivr while you are waiting on it coming back to you.
