Well, you can call the adjuster and tell them you'd like to use that part, but want tto count toward your deductible. If they try to tell you that they'll use it but you still have to pay the full deductible, tell them you'll sell (or return) the bumper to get the money for it, and then use that money toward the deductible (meaning they'll have to pay for a bumper).
I'm sure they'll work with you since it will be saving them money.

Just use your bumper..... the insurance co. should let you use it's cost towards your deductible. |

If you know someone who owns a shop talk to them about it. Sometimes a shop will put it on paper that they ordered you stock parts and painted them but in actuality will order aftermarket or in your case use the parts you already have and give you the change. |

I believe that you should file a claim with the insurance company along with the required number of estimates for the repairs. They will go with the lowest, reputable shop. I think that you can request direct payment for the allowed amount and then you can have the work done anywhere you like and just pay the difference. |

This is entirely done on a case by case basis. Talk to your insurance adjustor and offer your prebought bumper. It will reduce the job order only by the cost of the bumper.
Most auto repair jobs are greatly magnified by the LABOR costs, not parts. I fyou can find your own repair facility do so. However, most state insurances will use their own approved.repair facility.
Talk to the insurance adjustor. You can negotiate a few things. Bottom line is they dont want to pay too much either so you are working together on that end. |

That question should be directed to your INsurance Co. I have never heard of such an arrangement, it may work |

just get a couple of estimates from body shops, submit to the insurance company and they should cut you a check for the lowest one. then do what you want. you don't even have to mention that you have a replacement bumper. |

Sometimes insurance companies will give you the money and let you decide how to spend it. You can go to body shops and negotiate. |

My insurance company assessed the value of the damage and cut me a check. I got 1000 dollars and didn't fix my vehicle because it wasn't that bad to me. If your company will give you an assessment and pay out then you can do whatever you want. |

If the damage estimate is less than your deductible, pay for the entire thing out of your own pocket and give the body shop the aftermarket bumper to install.
If the damage estimate is more than the deductible, let insurance handle the entire thing and install the bumper yourself after the repair is complete as to not invalidate the performed repair service. |

All you can do is ask. your insurance might inspect your car and then issue you a check to have it repaired and have you handle the repair shop yourself. Most likely if you submit a repair claim you will still have to pay a decutible regardless of if you have your own part. your other option is to not submit a repair claim and do the work yourself.
read through your policy manual, they might make you do an "all or nothing" on the repair but thats what insurance is for. |

get a few quotes from auto body repair shops, and then your insurance company will likely send the check to you. and then get your bumper from whoever you want. maybe you can save your deductible and then some. |

Talk with your body-shop man ! He will probably work with you . |

some insurers may authorise the price of your part to be deducted from your excess providing you sign a disclaimer |

They won't do it.
It's the equivalent of taking your own food to a restaurant and asking them to cook it. |

Talk to your insurance representative. They more than likely will be willing to have the garage use your bumper, since it will cost them less money. |

Call your insurance adjuster tell them whats happening. |

if you provide parts the garage may not guarantee the work.
The garage makes money on buying parts, why should install yours ? If there is a defect detected after installation, they will replace their parts for free. They won't replace yours. |

If the cost of the repairs are below your deductible with your bumper I would use yours and not let the insurance company pay for it. But if repairs exceed you deductible with your bumper, I think you should keep and save your bumper for the next accident. |

speak to the adjuster from the insurance co.tell them about the new bumper, and see what they suggest |

Don't forget that it could count as a modification so best to discuss it with your insurance company. |

If you have insurance,USE IT!!! If you buy the bumper, there will probably be no warranty on the paint job OR installation!!! Use your insurance, that's what it's for!!!! |

Take the bumper to your auto mechanic. The auto place will fix the car and bill your insurance for the balance. It should be fine. But talk to the auto mechanic first and see what he suggests. |

Most Insurance Companies will direct you to a good repair shop and will guarantee the repairs for as long as you own the car. Just have the shop do the repairs, pay the deductible, and then replace the new bumper with your aftermarket. You can sell the bumper back to the service that provided it. The replacement bumper will be used or reconditioned. |

Ask your insurance agent.
Most insurance companies no longer allow the use of any parts other than from the manufacturer.
Which insurance pays for all the damages depends on who was at fault in the accident.
I got rear ended in an accident and knocked into a car in front of me.
The car that rear ended me bounced backwards and hit the car behind them.
The driver of the car that hit me had to pay for all 4 cars involved.
If it is determined that you did not cause the accident, don't worry about it.
You can always sell the bumper you already bought or they may use it and deduct the cost from the overall bill. |
