In the US, like everything else, it is a state-by-state rule. Some states allow passengers, others do not. In Oklahoma, we were allowed passengers, but the person in the front seat had to be a licensed driver over 21. |

If you live in the UK then it is okay to carry passengers as a learner driver providing you have a teacher that has held a full licence for three years or more. My niece has driving lessons with a professional driving instructor and sometimes her boyfriend sits in the rear seat. |

in the uk thats not true , you can have passengers |

No not in the uk anyway. My driving instructor used to get us to drop the previous student off as part of our lesson so providing your partner has done all the legal stuff by the book you shouldn`t have any problems. |

No this is not correct you can have passengers with you. You can even take your partner with you when doing your driving test your partner will sit in the back but must remain quiet at all times. |

Nope my husband taught me to drive with the kids in the back as long as you have at least 1 L plate on the back and one on the front that doesn't block your reg plates and you are with a driver who is over 21 and has a uk licence for a minimum of 3 years you are totally legal. Keep driving good luck |

Yes you are, as long as you are properly insured and have an experienced driver (3 years driving experience/ 21+) then you are, i dont think your allowed on the motorway and you need l plates and cant exceed 45. |

Depends on the State. IN CA.
YOU are allowed passengers in the car as long as SOMEONE with a License is over 25.
I am assuming you are a teenager??? You have to have (6) hrs with a driving instructor.
Remember safety 1st and don't take chances if you are only learning. |
