ok, i am about to get my license and i was wondering if i have to pay insurance. i heard if i "move" or change the place where i live liek to my grandparents house who do not have a car or vehicle linsurance i will not be charged for insurence.
but at the same time i will be driving my parents car adn i will be living in thier house.. will this work?
also, ive just found out that my dad is tryign to change the place where i lvie on my permit, and then when i get my license find out how i can be added on to thier insurance or use thier car from an insurance company.. will this work?

Drivers are not insured, cars are insured. Bottom line is: The car you drive MUST be insured. Trying to change your residence is insurance fraud and nothing good can come of it. If something should happen there would be no insurance coverage, the policy would be canceled and instead, perhaps legal trouble. |

your parent will have to call insurance company and add u to their policy and you'll be covered by their policy. don't know how u can change your address |

It is completely illegal to operate a car without car insurance. You'll get in huge trouble. Also, if you don't carry insurance for any period of time, it can be hard for you to get insurance when you try to. Being illegal is the biggest problem here, but it is just stupid not to have it. |

You need to be added as an additional driver for the residence you actually live at. |

You have to have insurance. Yeah it will work if they add you to there insurance that's what my parents did when i turned 16 like five yrs ago. |
