well, iws planning to go out tonight hwever as i was getting ready i realised that i did not know where my driving licesne is..
so now i am panicking what if it is lost,
what if someone is stealing my identiy
is that possible
what can i do
help please
any advice if u were in my situation

well im 19 and i dont drink or smoke
so i wouldnt put someones life in danger let alone my own!

its quite upsetting cos i never loose things and when i loose something that precious to me with all my details picture address date of birth ..it just freaks me out

Don't worry,it is not a big deal,just phone DVLA as soon as possible and explaine your situation,also you can go to the post office and ask what to do(there is a replacement form).And at last to be honest it is not that easy to steal an identity it is almoust imposible they will need lots of your personal information which they don't have!Your old license will be cancelled in some time after you report it as a stolen. |

You could contact the local Police and report it missing and ask them all this and also contact DVLA and get them to send you another one. |

Go to the police station and report it missing, then get a licence application form from the Post office.
If anyone does try ID theft the police have it on record that your driving licence was lost, so dont worry. |

You did not say how old you are....the thought that comes to mind is that you can not legaly enter any over 21 establishment without proper ID, even if you are 40 years old

go to the police, tell them you have lost it and get a new one, also talk about id theft and they will tell you about the risks you may now face, it may not be as bad as you think. Id theft can happen so easily these days that a passport is just as simple for a theif to take and use for fraud as a tesco club card.
Police are open 24/7 btw |

I hope you were not planning on drinking/drugging and driving? Maybe your Guardian Angel hid it away for your own safety.
If you have lost it, then you will need to apply for a new one from DVLA... with the relevant costs again. |

Report it to your local DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) or Highway Patrol office ASAP!!!!!!!!!! Then just go to the driver's license office and apply for another one. Take the same scource of identity you took the first time to get a license. No problem. |
