Lost my driver's license?

Hi. Have a quick question.
I misplaced my driver's license 2 days ago. I've looked everywhere but can't find it. I'm sure i probably won't ever find it now, it probably fell out of my wallet. What exactly can someone (someone evil, sinister) do with my driver's license if they happened to find it and have it in their position.
Any answers would be appreciated. thanks

Well, as long as it doesn't have your SSN on it, you should be fine. (You still have all your credit/debit cards, yes?) And, if whoever picked it up doesn't share a close resemblance to you, they can't go around pretending to be you. |

To answer your question, they could open a bank account using your license, and assume your id. They could get tickets using your license, which would go to you. They could write bad checks using your id, and you'd be expected to pay the money back.
So, report your license lost or stolen with the police and get to the DMV for a replacement as quickly as possible. NOW. Get off the computer and go get it done. |

Nothing unless they look just like you. But all it has is your I.D nuber on it and that usually dosen't do much with out a soc. too. I wouldn't worry. They can just look at your pic and laugh. :) |

Don't worry, it doesn't have your soc sec on it. If they do use it for some strange reason, they can go to jail for a long time. The DMV will give you a new one for about 27 or 28 bucks in calif. |

Um, most likely nothing since your photo is on it and it's obviously not you. Or worst case scenario they may be able to sign up for something online but most likely it wouldn't be approved without your other info.
Anyway, what are you wasting time on here for? Get to the DMV and tell them you need a new license and make sure you get a new DL# assigned to it! |

Go to your local DMV and get a new one it coast like $25 so you are going to have to do it. Hopefully no one picked it up but there isn't much you can do. Sorry. God bless |

go to DMV and tell them your problem and thay should charge you but at least you will get your wheels back...this happened to both my sisters once |
