I have been making payments on a car that i was buying from a friend. she still owes that bank for the car but we didnt do all the legal paperwork for the payments. i have paid over $1800 on the car but stupidly enough i did not get any receipts. thinking that this was a "friend" i didnt think that i would have to worry about it. so last week the car got backed into at a drive thru while i was driving. made a little damage but nothing serious. then 2 days later i was rear-ended by a diesel. thing is i have a suspended license and no insurance. i was taking care of both situations with the car. but now the owner has taken back the car and is trying to get the money for the accidents. am i going to be responsible for any money for the car repair? i was taking care of it on my own but the owner saw money signs thinking that the car would be totalled and she wouldnt have to make the payments anymore. i had to go to the hospital to get looked at and the company that hit me said to fax them the information. will they still go thru with it even though the car is not mine and the owner is doing the repair part on her own....help...thanks

a suspended license and no insurance would be a big thing and it was their car you was just renting it really and yes your responsible for any money that falls on in repairing they other cars or hospitl bills but their insurance an dtheir car should be up to them its their car right if any thing your out of luck your was just a driver now might sue the one who hit you but then most likey fail in that to since you wasnt legal to drive an dmost likely going to be more problems to come your way sorry to say it |
